SMBMSP After Hours: The Nighttime Is The Right Time

Guest post for SMBMSP by Amber L. Carter

(As most of us already know) Social Media Breakfast Minneapolis (SMBMSP) is an awesome, awesome, AWESOME organization that puts on great events where you can meet the raddest people and learn a shit ton of cool stuff. While the monthly morning events feature bacon (hey, it got me in the door) and tasty topics as relating to social media, SMBMSP After Hours is a special evening thang consisting of cocktails, conversation, and fantastic special guests.

Be clear: This isn’t some snoozefest with watered-down drinks that parades around as a happy hour but is really just an extension of the office (we’ve all been to those, haven’t we? Like all you wanna do after a hard day at work is go do more work with even more boring professionals). After Hours was created because, quite frankly, not everyone is ready for a vodka shot at nine in the morning (there are those who are. And those people are adorable). But at six o’clock in the evening? You’re ready for the hard stuff. And that’s what you’re going to get at an After Hours event, specifically this next one on 9/13 (featuring Erika Napoletano, the fire-y voice behind RedheadWriting.com): Crystal clear, top shelf, straight-to-the-head, so-good-it-burns doses of personality, punch, and perspectives that’ll buzz you up but good.

Straight-up, no chaser.

Leave the bullshit umbrellas and fruit garnishes to your mama.

Or your boss.
Shhh. He doesn’t have to know you said that.

And if you buy me a drink at After Hours, I promise I’ll never tell him.

So what are you waiting for, Mary? Go buy your tickets here.
